The position in context
A Product Manager is responsible for developing products that meet customer needs and succeed in the market. This includes leading product strategy, visualizing goals and milestones for the product team, and ensuring the product fulfills customer requirements.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Defining Product Strategy:
The Product Manager defines the product strategy based on the company and business strategy, setting the product goals and determining the ways how to achieve them.
- Collecting Customer Feedback:
The Product Manager gathers feedback from customers to understand their needs and requirements and incorporates this feedback into product plans.
- Prioritizing Requirements:
The Product Manager ensures that customer requirements are properly prioritized so that the product is developed efficiently and in alignment with the company and business strategy. They own the product roadmap, i.e., the visionary plan for product development.
- Collaboration with the Development Team:
The Product Manager works closely with the development team to implement customer requirements and may participate in planning product activities to ensure alignment with the product roadmap.
- Product Management:
The Product Manager oversees the product from development through market launch and subsequent support and growth, in line with the company strategy.
Job Requirements and Qualification

University degree in business, management, computer science, or any related field.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with different types of people.
- Ability to analyze data and use it for decision-making.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with a team and represent customer needs, with a strong customer focus.
- Relevant experience and understanding of IT and software development, and leading the product teams.
- Experience in marketing and business concepts.
- Good command of English and preferably knowledge of at least one additional foreign language.
