Responsibilities
As an Embedded Linux Developer at Invasys, you will play a pivotal role in the development process. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with the hardware development team on embedded system design and implementation.
- Develop and optimize Linux kernel drivers to enhance the performance and capabilities of our products.
- Create comprehensive manufacturing and testing documentation to ensure efficient production processes.
- Conduct prototyping and thorough electronics testing to validate the functionality and reliability of our solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements
To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and requirements:
- Profound expertise in programming languages C/C++ and a strong grasp of software development principles.
- A degree in IT, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or equivalent practical experience of more than 5 years (hobbyist experience in electronics is considered an advantage).
- Familiarity with Linux shell and experience with make/cmake build systems.
- Awareness of the Yocto Project, including the ability to create layers and recipes, and experience with bitbake.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills to tackle complex technical challenges effectively.
- Knowledge of FPGA technology is a significant advantage, showcasing your versatility in the field of embedded systems.
Additional Requirements
- Due to the nature of our work in the defence and security sector, candidates must be citizens of an EU / NATO country.
