Main Purpose of the Role

We are creating a new role to strengthen our project execution capabilities. The Head of Project Delivery will be responsible for leading the customer-facing project delivery activities, managing and supporting the delivery team and driving continuous improvement across the customer project processes. This role combines hands-on project leadership with a longer-term focus on establishing scalable, standardized delivery practices. After initial implementation, the role will transition to setting up the Project Management Office (PMO), standardizing project-related procedures (including ISO standards), and gradually incorporating security aspects into project governance.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks (current priority scope):

  • Project Delivery Leadership
    • Leading and managing the successful execution of sales projects from handover to completion.
    • Ensuring project delivery meets agreed timelines, scope, quality, and budget.
    • Monitoring project performance and proactively resolve issues and escalations.
    • Supporting the delivery team in overcoming delivery roadblocks and dependencies.
    • Managing the aftercare activities with support team.
    • Developing and delivering professional services.
  • Customer Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Acting as the primary delivery contact for key customers throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with client stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and trust.
    • Collaborating with the sales team and Production Group to ensure smooth handover from pre-sales to project execution.
  • Team Management and Leadership
    • Leading the project delivery team to ensure high performance and acocuntability.
    • Assigning resources to projects, managing workloads.
    • Fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Delivery Process Design and Management
    • Establishing a structured and repeatable delivery process for customer projects. Designing, managing and continuously improving the sales project delivery processes.
    • Coordinating with the sales team during handover from pre-sales to project execution.
    • Monitoring project execution with a focus on delivery, quality, timelines, and budget.
    • Managing project escalations and resolving delivery-related issues.
  • Process Improvement and Optimization
    • Identifying opportunities for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of delivery processes.
    • Implementing and evaluating KPIs for project performance.
    • Collaborating with other departments to streamline the transition from sales to delivery.

Future scope tasks:

  • Project Management Office (PMO) Setup
    • Defining project management roles, responsibilities, and organizational standards.
    • Creating and maintaining project methodologies, tools, and templates.
    • Supporting and guiding project managers across the organization.
  • Standardization and Compliance
    • Collaborating on the implementation of ISO-compliant processes (e.g., ISO 9001).
    • Documenting project processes and ensuring alignment with internal and external requirements.
  • Security Integration
    • Cooperating with the security team to embed security requirements into project and delivery processes.
    • Participating in the development of project-related security standards and controls.

Job Requirements and Qualification

  • Proven experience in project delivery or project management (minimum 3–5 years).
  • Knowledge of project management principles (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, agile methodologies are a plus).
  • Experience with process design or optimization in a medium-sized or scaling organization.
  • Understanding of quality and/or security standards (ISO knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Fluent in English language both written and spoken.
  • Ability to collaborate with key customers on site when needed.
  • Advantage to have:
    • Hands-on experience with Project delivery.
    • Hands-on experience with PMO setup or project governance frameworks.
    • Experience with IT, development, or tech-related industries.
    • Familiarity with audit processes, internal controls, or security compliance.
