The Position in Context
Invasys has a project-oriented structure and delivers both standard and customised solutions. Our engineering teams, supported by a creative and innovative team of scientists, work hard to deliver solutions the market has not yet seen.
We are looking for a senior colleague to our Linux Engineering Team within the hjgjhgkjgjg. Your focus will be on creating jkhkkjjkhkjhjkhkjhhkjhkj. Your role will be to hhkhølkæløjkbgjjkhkughkjhjkhjkhkjhkhk.
Most of the time you will work in a Czech speaking environment, but basic knowledge of English is required.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
As a senior member of the Linux Engineering Team you will be working in close cooperation with the jhgjhgjhgjhgjghgj. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Developing drivers to production quality
- Guiding architecture choices and technology selection
- Coordinating work of other team members
- Responsible for the quality and reliability of Linux OS components and installers.
- Adapting Linux OS to new HW components (both developed internally and COTS)
- Improving product flexibility, maintainability, stability and security
Qualifications & Requirements
To excel in this role, you should meet most of the following qualifications and requirements:
- Good knowledge of Debian (Ubuntu) based Linux systems
- Experience with creating, installing, maintaining Debian packages
- Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- 3+ years experiance as Linux system administrator or similar position
Additional Requirements
- Good knowledge of networking (IPv4, IPv6)
- Good knowledge of Linux File Systems (BTRFS, LVM)
- Good knowledge of Ansible
- Nice to have: experience with PXE boot
- Nice to have: experience with LUKS disk encryption
- Nice to have: experience with Docker and CI/CD processes such as GitLab CI and/or similar
- Due to the nature of our work in the defence and security sector, candidates must be citizens of an EU / NATO country.
